Who We Are
Hudson Claims Solutions, LLC (“Hudson”) is a claims and litigation management company, founded and run by attorneys, who are licensed claims adjusters, focused on delivering cost effective solutions for insurance carriers, self insured’s, captives and other risk bearers. We create and provide value for our clients by offering services and expertise that may not be available through insurance company claims operations.

The principals are attorneys and seasoned claims professionals who have extensive experience in all aspects of the claims cycle, from initial notice through potential pitfalls of discovery and the rigors of trial. All of the attorneys have actively defended professional and general liability cases through this process, and have served on claim committees evaluating the exposure of small and large claims, in all 50 states. The Claim Committee process included not only evaluating liability and damages, but setting reserves and making decisions on when matters should be settled or tried.

Why Us
Quite simply, we have walked in your shoes. Joseph Loughlin, President and founder of Hudson Claims Solutions, LLC, is the former Chief Claims Officer of a large specialty insurance company, responsible for the oversight of all liability and surety claims and staff counsel offices. Loughlin was instrumental in reducing Loss Adjustment Expense while reducing overall indemnity costs. Loughlin employed not only a traditional insurance carrier claims operation but also relied on Third Party Administrators and staff counsel to control and reduce the ultimate exposure of the insurance company.
Billig has successfully tried numerous professional and general liability cases to verdict and now focuses on assisting risk bearers in resolving high exposure, complex matters.
Hudson Claims knows what is expected from the carrier’s perspective and pledges to meet service standards and bring value to the claims process.
