For over twenty five years, Suzanne has served as both legal counsel and senior executive in public and private companies and law firms. She began her legal career litigating professional liability actions for a large New York City firm and later as Managing Attorney of a New York/Florida law firm, employing 40 attorneys.
As Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Director of a public holding company with 1500 employees, 44 locations throughout the United States and Europe, Mrs. Loughlin directed all planning, staffing, managing and budgeting activities for Corporate Communications, Corporate Facilities & Property Management, Government Affairs, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Internal Audit divisions.
She assisted in the development and implementation of corporate vision, strategies, goals and policies. In times of crisis, she managed both the bankruptcy and the rehabilitation/recovery process for several companies, and led the execution of expense reduction initiatives, corporate downsizing, facilities consolidation, lease terminations, vendor and creditor contract negotiations, and the termination of retirement and self-funded medical/dental plans.
Suzanne is EVP and a founding member of Firestorm Solutions, LLC, a national leader in crisis management, business continuity and preparedness solutions. Firestorm understands the impacts of a disaster on a large organization, having done work on many projects which ranged from providing crisis and media management support to Virginia Tech after the shootings to designing the Pandemic Plan for one of this nation’s largest retailers.

Family/Community
Suzanne currently serves on the board of Pattern for Progress, the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development (Immediate Past Chair) and the Sullivan County Industrial Development Agency. She is Founder and has served as Race Director of the Rhulen Rock Hill Run & Ramble (benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) for the past 18 years, raising in excess of $750,000. Suzanne and her husband Joe have two children, and reside in Rock Hill, New York.

Suzanne received her Bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University in 1982 and her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1985.
